Chinese students in America already held more liberal views, study finds

Research tracking nearly 1,000 students over four years found that their political beliefs remained largely stable, even as support for China's political system declined.

Studying in America didn’t appear to change Chinese students’ political views all that much, according to a new study. Those attending U.S. colleges were already more liberal than students back home, and that gap remained largely unchanged over four years.
