Introducing the premiere issue of The Rebel Yellow monthly
Dear Rebels,
The team and I are proud to share something new with you: the first issue of the Rebel Yellow Monthly.
This project grew out of a simple idea: that some stories deserve more space, more care, and more depth than a weekly newsletter can offer. The Monthly is our attempt to slow things down, step back, and connect the dots across the moments, movements, and people shaping our communities right now.
For this inaugural issue, we’re making it available to all subscribers. Going forward, future monthly editions will be accessible to paid subscribers only (though you’re always free to share them with anyone you think should read them).
I want to be transparent about where we’re at.
The Rebel Yellow is at a real crossroads. If we don’t reach 1,000 paid subscribers by February 28, we won’t be able to sustain our current operating costs. As of today, we’re at 560! More than halfway there, and something I’m deeply grateful for.
If this work matters to you, if these stories help you make sense of the world, and if you have the means, I’m asking you to consider becoming a paid subscriber. Your support doesn’t just keep the lights on, it allows us to continue doing careful, independent storytelling without chasing algorithms or headlines for their own sake.
