India gifts Seattle a Swami Vivekananda statue, a first for any U.S. city

The statue was sculpted by Indian artist Naresh Kumar Kumawat, whose more than 600 public installations are placed in over 80 countries.

India has presented Seattle with a life-size bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda, making it the first U.S. city government to install such a monument.
