Japan’s 4-0 win over Tunisia on June 21 was the biggest World Cup victory ever recorded by an Asian nation. It was also the first time an Asian team scored four goals in a men’s World Cup match. The victory has now given fresh momentum to the Samurai Blue’s goal of becoming the first Asian nation to win the tournament.
